Grinnell Glacier Trail rewarded progress with more and more beautiful landscapes. As I neared Lake Josephine while hiking the trail, I emerged from forest to find mountains looming all around the water with a backdrop of puffy clouds.

From here on out, the trail would be in the open for the most part, offering jaw-dropping alpine views. More to come.
