I used the excellent phone app Photographer’s Ephemeris to discover the sun would rise almost directly behind the Capitol Building. Notwithstanding the scaffolding, the glowing pink clouds behind the dome still made for a pretty sight.
By day, I’m a web programmer. When I’m not on the clock, I find peace in exploring natural and architectural marvels. My love of photography is an inevitable extension of that. Through photography, I’m more than a passive observer of the world. I’m indulging both my creative fancy and my technical acumen.
